Personal information, appointments, conditions, and discussions between clients and massage therapists of Meraki Massage will be kept confidential. Meraki Massage will never lease, sell, or provide any client information to an outside party without explicit client consent.
CANCELLATION TEXT SMS TERMS & CONDITIONS
Meraki Massage, also known as "Meraki Massage LLC" offers existing customers the option to opt-in to receive notifications regarding appointment availability. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your information (including name and phone number) will not be shared with or sold to any third parties for the purpose of marketing. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, reply HELP at any time for help.
LATE / CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW
Clients agree to arrive at least five (5) minutes prior to their appointment time in order to receive the full massage session. If client arrives late, it is understood the session may be cut short to accommodate on time arrivals that may be scheduled after, and will still be charged for the full price of the massage session. If client is more than ten (10) minutes past the scheduled time, the therapist may reschedule the appointment.
If client must cancel or reschedule their appointment, 24 hours notice is required. If 24 hours notice is not given, a $50 fee will be charged, due immediately. Appointments cancelled with less than 2 hours notice will be charged 100% of the appointment fee that would have been due, due immediately.
As of May 1, this policy goes both ways. I respect my clients' time and commitment to regular schedules as well, and if I have to cancel within 24 hours, clients will receive $50 off their next appointment. If I have to cancel within 2 hours, their next appointment is on me.
If client does not show up for scheduled appointment and fails to contact Meraki Massage, they will be considered and no-call, no-show and will be responsible for payment of 100% of the appointment fee that would have been due and will be asked to prepay for future appointments, due immediately. After two no-call, no-show appointments, client will no longer be allowed to book. *New clients are required to pre-pay for their first appointment.
Due to the nature of my full schedule, it is important to me to try to keep reschedules to a minimum. When frequent rescheduling becomes a pattern, it can be challenging to rearrange schedules and manage time effectively. Therefore, I reserve the right to decline appointment requests from clients who have a history of frequent rescheduling and/or cancellation. Appointments rescheduled or cancelled three times in a row will be cancelled.
Clients agree to arrive at least five (5) minutes prior to their appointment time in order to receive the full massage session. If you arrive more than ten (10) minutes early, please text your therapist to let her know you have arrived. The time in between clients is used to clean the treatment room, eat, stretch, and prepare for the next appointment without feeling rushed.
RESPECT FOR CLIENT-THERAPIST BOUNDARIES
Clients agree to be open and honest with their massage therapist at all times during their session (including but not limited to: temperature, pressure, music volume, working on a certain area longer or moving on to the next body part, or anything that makes them feel uncomfortable.) Clients understand that they may leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse or request to change any massage methods, or stop the session at any time. It is understood that clients will be modestly draped for the entirety of the massage session and that only the area being worked on will be uncovered. Breast and genital areas will be avoided at all times. Any inappropriate advances or requests will not be tolerated, and any attempt to do so will result in the session being terminated immediately with no option to reschedule, as well as being reported to the proper authorities.
